Delete your StoryTimeZZZ account
App: StoryTimeZZZ (com.perlicom.storytimezzz)
In the app (fastest)
- Open StoryTimeZZZ and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete my account, and confirm.
Deletion happens immediately. It cannot be undone, and unused tokens are not refundable.
Already uninstalled the app?
E-mail support@perlicom.com from the e-mail address your StoryTimeZZZ account uses, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm it is you, delete everything, and reply to confirm — within 30 days, and normally within a few days. We do not ask for any further personal information in order to do it.
Deleting only part of it
- One child's profile and everything about them: Children > the child's card > delete.
- One story: open your shelf, and delete the book.
What is deleted
- Your account record: name, e-mail address and Google profile picture link.
- Every child profile and family card, including names, ages, pronouns, appearance and any needs you listed.
- Every story: the words, the illustrations, the page layouts and every storyteller recording made for you.
- Your token wallet and the record of what tokens were spent on.
- Every sign-in session, so you are signed out everywhere.
What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase records, with your account identifier removed, for as long as Irish tax law requires (currently six years). Keeping the receipt's one-way hash is also what stops the same receipt being used twice to mint free tokens. These records do not identify you.
- Name-stripped story templates — the words and artwork with every character replaced by a placeholder and every personal detail removed, kept so later stories are faster to make. They contain no names and identify nobody. If artwork was painted from how your child looks and you want that removed as well, e-mail support@perlicom.com and we will delete it.
Nothing else is retained. We keep no backup copy of a deleted account beyond the short rolling window our routine system backups run on, after which it is gone from those too.
Cancelling StoryTimeZZZ Pro
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: Google Play holds it, so cancel it there — Play Store > your profile picture > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > StoryTimeZZZ > Cancel. Do that before deleting the account, or you will keep being charged for an account that no longer exists. Refunds are handled by Google Play.
